Why grooming your dog costs more than you do

They are our family and we love our pets! Many people say they spend more time with their pets than with their loved ones, and some prefer it. They sleep with you, they have their own bed and some of them even have their own house!

In 2021, $123.6 billion was spent on our pets in the United States only. This includes: pet food and treats, supplies, veterinary care, grooming, boarding, training, pet sitting and walking, insurance, etc.

Why does it cost so much to groom your furry family member? Dog and pet grooming is usually close – and very often, After – than what we humans spend on our own haircuts. But it’s definitely more complicated than our own haircut.

The Daily Mirror says a London dog groomer Tired of people asking him “why does it cost more” to groom his dog? She posted a sign in her window which is quite funny and has now gone viral. It reads:
