Please Help Find This Dog Who Was Thrown Out Of A Car In The Lufkin Wreckage

Late Saturday afternoon, a 2-vehicle accident occurred near the intersection of Denman Avenue and Loop 287 in Lufkin. According to a report sent to me, someone ran a red light and hit another vehicle. The person driving the second vehicle, Eddie, was thrown from his car. Likewise, his dog, Montana, was ejected from the vehicle. This vehicle caught fire and was totally engulfed in flames.

Eddie suffered numerous serious injuries, including fractured bones in his neck and back. He was taken to a local hospital before being transported to Tyler due to the critical nature of his injuries. The good news is that as of Sunday afternoon, Eddie has recovered enough to go home.

What happened to Montana?

This is where Eddie and his girlfriend, Angela, hope you can help. After Montana was ejected, it is assumed that she had to flee. There have been several reports regarding where Montana went immediately after the sinking.

Some say they saw her in the Café Del Rio parking lot. Lufkin police reported that someone in a gray Ford Explorer picked up Montana. Another person claimed to have seen the dog near a flooring business near the intersection. Yet another message arrived saying Montana could have been seen on FM 1270 in Zavalla.

Eddie’s car was destroyed and he has a very long and costly recovery ahead of him, but his biggest concern is the safe return of Montana, whom he loves dearly.

Eddie and his girlfriend, Angela, ask that people be on the lookout for Montana. When driving around Denman and the Loop in Lufkin, be mindful. If you have Montana whereabouts information, please contact this email address: [email protected]
