An MSP airport explosives detection dog has been crowned the TSA’s cutest dog.

What happened: Eebbers, an 11-year-old Vizsla-Labrador mix who has worked at MSP for nearly a decade, beat four-legged rivals from big hubs such as DCA and JFK to win this year’s contest, according to a statement.

To note : Eebbers, who was named in memory of a US Army soldier who died in 2002, provided crowd security at the Super Bowl, an NCAA National Championship football game and the Indianapolis 500 .

  • “He stays very active every day, even in the cold Minnesota winters, and he loves swimming in one of Minnesota’s 10,000 lakes in the summer,” according to the TSA.

You congratulate Eebbers at MSP’s TSA checkpoints. Remember: do not pet the security dogs!
