Man accused of hitting children with metal dog leash

CINCINNATI (WXIX) — A man is facing child endangerment charges after he allegedly hit two children with a metal dog leash.

On August 6, 27-year-old Ray Satterwhite Jr. punished the children by beating them with a metal chain-link leash, a Hamilton County Court document explains.

The children were playing with a Nerf gun when Satterwhite Jr. took it away and hit them, according to the document.

Both children had “obvious injuries,” according to the court document.

Satterwhite Jr. is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 6 on the two child endangerment charges, according to prison records.
