Leashed dog dies after being bitten by loose dog – Chicago Tribune

Criminal damage to property

A resident of the 4700 block of Central Avenue reported at 5:55 p.m. on August 26 that during the previous week, 10 wooden panels on his fence had been damaged by an unknown person or persons. No damage was estimated.

At 4:18 p.m. on August 28, a loose dog attacked another dog on a leash in the 5700 block of Lawn Avenue. The dog was taken to an animal hospital, where he died. The person walking the dog was also injured, suffering a puncture wound to the hand.

The owner of the loose dog received several city tickets, including biting dog, fierce dog and loose dog.

Leaving the scene of an accident

A resident reported to him at 12:47 p.m. on August 24 that the driver’s side rear bumper was damaged while parked at Mariano’s, 4700 S. Willow Springs Rd. No damage was estimated.
