Is A 6 Inch Lift Too High. To get more lift i would have to install the 6 inch rancho strut. take out the lift spacer. and add a leveling kit on top of the strut. Im trying to decide if my rubicon with a soft top will fit with a 3.5 lift and with 37s or maybe 38s.

I have the lift completely installed except for the rear shocks. but after installing the add a leaf and blocks in the rear the driveshaft appears to be too short.

Your truck will sit higher off the ground. so the center of gravity will be slightly higher as well. If you dont like it nose high you can get an add a leaf to give the back more height (i think raider did that)

It will keep them higher than the roads. avoiding bumps would be easier and not to mention driving and observing from up there must increase anyone’s excitement level. With a 1 inch platform on a 3 inch heel. the angle isnt too high so you might get quite close to 3 inches.

If you raise your truck too much. you could be in. There’s a member on here who got a 2.5” leveling kit and put 35” tires on with 0 rub.

The front wheel well measures 42.5 inches. the rear wheel well measures 44.5 inches. You just have to accept you have 2wd and unless you really want to start throwing off the geometry. it is what is.

I too measured a maximum height of the cab at 83.5 to 84 inches. There’s a member on here who got a 2.5” leveling kit and put 35” tires on with 0 rub. It has the gy wrangler tires (275x70r18). and the tires measure at 32.5 inches.

This means your truck may not. You can always upgrade to a large lift later on. The front wheel well measures 42.5 inches. the rear wheel well measures 44.5 inches.

If Its A 4 Block (Or 3 With An Add A Leaf) And Sits Level. You Should Have A 6 Kit.

I have my old 1.5 inch auto spring leveling kit that i wanted to put on top for 7.5 inches of lift. I know some people end up with the truck nose high after they put a six inch lift cause the back as raider said doesnt actually get lifted 6. When you lift your truck. whether it’s by two inches or twelve. you’ll change the truck’s center of gravity.
