A DC police dog was found dead inside a police vehicle on Monday, and the circumstances are being investigated, according to the department spokesperson.
Few details, including the dog’s name, have been made public, and spokesman Dustin Sternbeck said authorities are awaiting the results of an autopsy to determine how the dog died.
