ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV) – A frantic search is underway for an extremely rare dog.
In late August, Tito’s new owners, Mason and Samantha Miller, traveled to Ohio to pick him up. When they got home, the couple left Tito, an Otterhound, in their garden, but 15 minutes later the 115-pound dog was gone.
Over the past few weeks, a search has been underway to find the missing Otter Hound. On Thursday, dozens more Otterhounds and their owners descended on the Deer Creek area near Tilles Park.
So far, there have been no confirmed sightings of Tito. Anyone who thinks they see him is asked not to approach him, but to take a photo and send it to the search party.
There are only about 600 breeds of Otterhound left in the world.
