ANAHEIM, Calif. – Anaheim police have officially released the identity of a man wanted in connection with the disturbing dog abuse case last week.
Last week, a video showing a man repeatedly kicking and punching a dog in an apartment complex in Anaheim went viral. On Wednesday, September 21, the Anaheim Police Department announced that it had issued an arrest warrant for 33-year-old Albert Abad Jr. in connection with the incident.
Anaheim PD posted the photo below of Abad:

Abad is described as about 5’10” tall and weighing about 155 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He is believed to be in Southern California, the Anaheim PD said.
In last week’s viral video, a man was seen brutally attacking a dog in the hallway of an Anaheim apartment. He was seen kicking the dog and hitting it multiple times. Earlier in the week, the Anaheim PD said the department was aware of Abad but did not arrest him at the time because officers were having trouble locating the dog.
